My pattern designs & your products

Art Licensing is where you can 'rent' artwork to use in your business e.g. you can license a design/pattern of mine to use on a product you sell.

Licensing can be non-exclusive or exclusive and is for a set time period.

A non-exclusive license means that you can license a design/pattern from me to be used on your products. The same design/pattern can also be licensed and used by other companies, as well as being sold by me on sites such as Spoonflower.

I will retain the copyright for the design/pattern.

For an exclusive license, we will negotiate and agree on terms for the use of the design/pattern.

This license will be specific to your industry and territory. For example, if the license is for fabric by the yard in USA I could still license the same design/pattern for fabric by the yard in UK (different territory), or for a different category like wallpaper or stationary in USA.

At the end of the agreed time period, you will have first right to renew the license. If you do not want to renew the license the full rights of the design/pattern return to me, the artist.

Yes, I ca customise colours to suit your needs.

Designs/patterns that have been created digitally can be changed to specific colours e.g. Pantone, hex codes.

Any designs/patterns that have watercolour artwork can have the background colours changed and minor tweaks to colour. Please contact me to discuss how I can help you.
